Mary Martin

undefined

Click here to watch Mary Martin's intro video.

Mary Martin is a transformational coach who specializes in Intra-Interpersonal communications. She says, "How we talk to ourselves and how we show up for ourselves, is the precursor to everything else in life. When you know, truly know these things--you set yourself up for living your best life. I believe that we are the authors of our stories, and we have permission to edit it fiercely!"

This is why Mary partners with individuals--to unlock their authentic voice, so they can speak and walk in their truth. She offers her clients a "container of empathy" in which introspection starts, and their journey of transformation begins.

Mary grew up in Houston and could always be found in a dance studio, street studio, or any place she could get her "groove on." She had a philosophy for life…. "Dance your way into joy." Mary says, "Dance is a way to express yourself, communicate your emotions, and be heard--without holding back. It teaches you how to feel where emotion lives. You are free to be you!"

She took her philosophy with her and danced in Africa, Mexico and Spain. Until one day her world came crashing down. Her philosophy was shattered when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 27.

"My whole identity, gone--stripped away. My world lost color. I didn’t recognize myself anymore."

Mary took a long look at herself in the mirror, and decided right then and there, that she was the author of her own story. She began a new book 19 yrs. ago, and her chapters are full of humor and sorrow. “I have a new philosophy," she said. "Your authentic voice wants to be heard. Change your inner dialog, change your life.”

Education, learning and personal development is at the heart of Melissa’s 24-year professional career.  Whether it was working with low-income, first-generation high school students or executives in business and government, she compassionately walked alongside people as they journeyed to become their truest, highest and fullest expression of self.  This passion for helping others unearth their deep wisdom, power and potential is what inspired Melissa to go through the inviteCHANGE program in 2021.

Melissa spent over two decades as an administrator at several colleges and universities across Washington State, and now works on a learning and development team at a large tech company.  As a second-generation educator, Melissa credits her family and community for instilling in her the value of learning, of interconnection and of paying it forward. With a strong commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion, she continues to seek ways to close opportunity gaps and has a passion for working with underrepresented groups.

Melissa’s coaching approach is fueled by authentic curiosity, deep wonder and compassionate support.  She serves as a mirror that reflects back to you your fullness, your strength, your wisdom and your infinite ability.  She holds sacred and safe space for you while you move through your own growth, realizations and healing.

Originally from the state of Hawai‘i, Melissa is a proud graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies, she moved to Seattle to complete a year of national service with the Americorps program, and later went on to complete a Master of Education degree at Seattle University.  Melissa’s tie to her Hawai’i roots remains strong, and she still dances hula (both ancient kahiko and modern ‘auana style) and plays ukulele with family and friends whenever possible.  In her spare time, she enjoys feeding her curiosity around plants, herbs and ancient healing practices, as well as finding fun outlets for her creative spirit.

Lauren Bronson

Click here to watch Lauren Bronson's intro video.

After a decade of practicing as a trial lawyer, Lauren felt her energy depleted and burned out. Taking a deep dive inward, she came to understand and nurture the parts of herself that she'd disconnected from on her quest to be the "perfect" version of who she thought she should be. By becoming aware of the parts of herself "running the show", she found her own powerful authentic voice and what makes her heart sing.

Lauren partners with her clients to help them reconnect with their authentic powerful self by creating awareness of the parts of themselves holding them back from moving forward toward desired outcomes. Lauren believes we all have infinite potential for success, joy, and love - it sometimes takes the right questions to reveal the answers you already hold within.

Lina Boudiab

Lina Boudiab, MSN, RN; Certified Mindfulness facilitator

~*~ Nurse, mother, daughter, holistic practitioner, coach ~*~

Throughout my nursing career, whether in the clinical or academic setting, I have valued people’s stories and their personal experiences and strived to help them connect with their inner strength, resilience, and personal capacity to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.  As a mindfulness facilitator, I am even more aware of how our personal experiences and mindsets tend to shape our views of the world, our thoughts, and our emotions. Bringing awareness to whatever arises in the present moment with curiosity, non-judgment, kindness, and compassion, became my practice and my life’s work.

My educational background is in nursing education and informatics, and I have worked in academia as an Adjunct Nursing Faculty and clinical instructor before going back to the clinical setting, my first love!  My passion for holistic patient-centered care and Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH), which address the individual as a whole, capable, creative, and resourceful human being, became eventually the focus of my work. I currently serve as the Complementary and Integrative Therapies Program Coordinator at a local Health Care System. I get to work every day with individuals with chronic pain, history of trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, and recently long COVID symptoms, empowering them to take charge of their health and life and equipping them with tools to support them on their healing journey. I also provide a number of CIH modalities, such as Healing Touch, Auricular Acupuncture (BFA and NADA protocols), Hospital aromatherapy, Mindfulness training, among others.

As a coach, I am passionate about holding an open, safe, and curious space where individuals can show up authentically, just as they are, be vulnerable, and have generative conversations that bring about personal insight and growth to help them move forward on their journey.

Lina is fluent in English, Arabic and also speaks some French.

Emma Pineda Fortin

Emma is a professional somatic coach, specializing in partnering with multicultural leaders so that they can lead with confidence and ease. As a somatic leadership coach, she brings her lived experience as a queer person of color, executive, and scientist. Her background in engineering, tech, and entrepreneurship combined with her training as a somatic coach provides the ability to bridge between the brain and the body /heart.

She believes that all humans are born whole and carry the wisdom of their ancestors in both their conscious and unconscious selves. Unfortunately, we are socialized into various cultures that gradually obscure these truths and push them to conform to pre-established molds. She believes that coaching is one way to break free from this cycle of socialization and enter the cycle of liberation, as referenced in Bobbie Harro's work. She believes that coaches facilitate an individual's reclamation of their wholeness. As a coach, her role is to be present, listen and understand, reflect, identify patterns, and challenge in the service of the clients evolution. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University, and her experience ranges from software consultant to COO of a mission-driven e-commerce startup.  She is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), trained at InviteChange and the Somatic Wilderness Institute.

Emma inspires the courage to re-define beliefs based on an internal compass, resulting in higher clarity, creativity, and compassion in the ways her clients lead at home and at work.

Julie Poirier

I am passionate and dedicated in supporting my clients in getting the best experience out of this one-time trip that is life. Experience thriving and stop surviving.

I had a long career in the service industry where I worked with and for all types of people. I take pride in my ability to connect with individuals from all over the world with different backgrounds, beliefs, and abilities. I decided to pursue a career in developmental coaching because I thought it was an opportunity to channel my creativity, my empathy, my resilience, and my clarity in helping others live at a higher frequency. I've experienced many failures while searching what successfully comes next - and I'll definitely bring that exploratory mindset when it comes to working with you!
