Vadessa Flack

Vadessa Flack is deeply passionate about serving her community and making a meaningful impact. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for several organizations, including Leadership Jackson Alumni Association, Ballet Arts, and (CASA) Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children; she is a member of 100 Women Who Care, Circle of Red for the American Heart Association, and (TACL) Tennessee Association of Community Leaders. She is a Women United Ambassador for the United Way and a Woman of Impact mentor.
Her leadership extends across numerous organizations, having served as President of the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association, a Board Member of the Jackson Symphony League, a Jackson Chamber Emissary, and a member of Kiwanis. She has also been a Heart Walk Board Member for the American Heart Association, President of the Kappa Delta Alumni Association, and an FCCLA Advisory Board Member for South Gibson County High School. Additionally, she has held leadership roles within her church and actively volunteers with various nonprofit organizations.
Professionally, Vadessa is the Director of Marketing for Manpower Midsouth. Before this role, she worked in the nonprofit sector as Director of Patron Development for The Jackson Symphony and Director of the Symphony Ambassador Program. Earlier in her career, she worked at Euphoria Salon before transitioning to the Symphony. She has also been a freelance wedding director for over 25 years.
A graduate of Union University, Vadessa completed the Leadership Jackson program in 2017, where she received the prestigious Diamond Award. She was also honored with the Emerging Leader Award as an alumna and was recognized as a 2024 Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association.
Vadessa resides in Jackson with her husband, Steven. They are proud parents of two grown children and recently welcomed their first grandchild, Leo.
