Professional Bio
Subashini (Suba) Iyer is currently Launch Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader for Space Launch Systems - Core Stage, Exploration Upper Stage and Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage - Artemis mission to Moon and then Mars. She is also the Production Test & Launch Capability Integrator under Space & Launch Division. She was the Spacecraft Engineering Integrator for CST100 Commercial Crew Transportation Program (CCTS) from 2017 to 2019, Senior Manager for GS&S Structural Analysis (Military derivatives) in 2015 and B-1 Airframe IPT Leader in 2012 in Oklahoma City. She was responsible for managing multi-disciplined teams supporting various programs - B-1, B2, B-52, KC-135, F/A-18 A-D, F-22, QF-16, T-45 SLEP, A10 and C-17 Structural Analysis. Prior to joining Boeing, Suba was Manager of United Space Alliance Strength and Fracture Analysis - Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster program. Earlier assignments included working as Occupant Development Engineer - Impact Analysis/Crash Testing team for Ford Motor Company, Detroit for over seven years where she gained extensive experience in full vehicle crash analysis, testing and dummy kinematics. She has over twenty-five years of Engineering Analysis and Design experience in various project phases from initial design to product test and documentation. She holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna/Bharathiar University, India; a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit; and a Masters degree in Business Administration from University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
