Professional Bio
Rebecca is a 2006 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a 2019 Distinguished Alumni. She has worked the past 6 years as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for various industries. She is a gifted instructor with over 15 years teaching a variety of college courses. This experience has served her well in her professional capacity where she is a certified instructor for many positions throughout her trade. Additionally, she is qualified to teach first aid and CPR and recently qualified a diverse group in both English and Spanish. She has worked as a safety and security inspector on large mainline projects, helping to mitigate both hazardous work conditions and large protests to ensure that all employees are able to complete their work safely. She has worked as a safety analyst, to compile internal reports, OSHA documentation, and lessons learned for both mainline and transmission projects. Her years working as a Fireman, a pipeline documentation technician, and construction coordinator have made her an excellent Safety Coordinator, who is not afraid to get her boots muddy as she oversees operators, laborers, and welders throughout the project. A keen sense of observation skills ensure that hazardous conditions can be addressed to mitigate potential dangers through the worksite. A strong desire to create a safe and harmonious work environment drive my personal and professional work ethic and guides me to reach for ever higher levels of safety and compliance.
