My name is Melissa Kirkpatrick, My Safety Commitment is to inspire,motivate and adhere to safety in all my surroundings. My journey at MTM started March 2,2020, as a Team Leader in Assembly Doorline, as of March 2,2021 I was promoted to Assembly Group Leader in IP/IP Trim1/IP Trim2. I am from Knoxville,TN (GO Vols!) I moved to Huntsville, Alabama Aug.2013 to be closer to my 2 kids, my oldest daughter decided to stay in Knoxville with our family. My previous job of 20 years at Sears West Town Mall closed indefinitely, so I decided to choose a different career path. I worked from home as a call center Rep for Royal Carribean, Carnival Cruise and Disney World, which then I became a home-based travel agent. In August 2016 I was employed at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing engine plant in Huntsville Alabama, as a Temp, Yellow shift, TNGA Main line before I started working here at MTM. I am a volunteer Track and field coach for Meridianville middle school and Hazel Green High School and in the summer time Huntsville Metro Track Club, teaching youth from ages 5 to 18 the fundamentals of Track and Field. It’s ok to be different, to live for your dreams and strive for your goals you are trying to achieve. It starts within you, once you believe in yourself then everyone else will believe in you. Have the mindset each day how can I encourage myself or someone else today. The more we work together as ONE TEAM to help each other grow, we will become the #1 best automotive motor manufacturing company on the Planet.
