Professional Bio

I have worked for the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA), as of 2025 now the Motion + Power Manufacturers Alliance (MPMA), for sixteen years. I began my career in communications and web development, drawing on my background in graphic design. Over time, my natural curiosity about manufacturing led me to become an avid learner in the field, and my training gave me the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible information for a broader audience.

In 2017, I took on the challenge of establishing an emerging technology resource center for the Association. Since then, I have built a robust program for AGMA members, including four committees focused on 3D printed metal, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), electric vehicle technology, and advances in robotics and automation. Today, more than 100 industry professionals actively participate in these committees, which meet regularly to explore and discuss emerging technologies. Together, the committees deliver valuable resources to the MPMA membership through white papers, expert speakers, facility and trade show tours, monthly free webinars, and other educational initiatives.

In June 2021, I added the role of Executive Director of the AGMA Foundation to my responsibilities. In this dual role, I work to advance both the technical growth and the long-term future of the gear manufacturing industry.

In 2026, we are adding a new technology committee with a focus on eVTOL/drone technology that utilizes gears and bearings. I hope to bring together stakeholders for valuable discussions.
