Professional Bio
Leigh Ann Richardson joined Koppers in February 2015 as the Manager, Regulatory Administration for the Performance Chemicals (PC) division. In 2021, she was promoted to Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs. Leigh Ann prepares and manages pesticide product registrations in the US and Canada for PC’s wood preservatives like micronized copper azole, CCA, and DCOI. She oversees state registrations as well as SDS and label development for all PC US and Canadian products. Leigh Ann also represents Koppers and wood preservative uses as an Executive Committee member of the American Chemistry Council's Center for Biocide Chemistries (CBC) and several task forces.
Leigh Ann received her bachelor’s degree in environmental health science from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining Koppers, Leigh Ann worked for two other chemical companies where she held regulatory positions of increasing responsibilities at each organization. In 2023, Leigh Ann was nominated by Koppers and was selected as one of 100 female honorees in the Manufacturing Institute’s Women MAKE America. In 2024, Leigh Ann became the Programs and Events Chair of LINKwomen, Koppers Employee Resource Group.
