Lauren Carey is a Sr. TS&D Technician for the Consumer Comfort market within PU systems for Polyurethanes NAA. In this role, she is responsible for providing technical support for product development, application development, technical service, and product or process research to Lead Scientists and Technologist Leaders in the Consumer Comfort and Automotive market segments. Additionally, Lauren is the Site Implementation Leader for VetNet.
Prior to this role, Lauren was a Quality Control Technician for Polyurethanes at the Marietta production facility. From 2011-2014, she was a TS&D/R&D Technician for the Flooring market segment within PU systems.
Lauren joined Dow in 2005 from Arch Chemicals, Inc (now part of Lonza America, Inc.), Conley, GA with 2 years’ experience as an Analytical Services Technician in the Wood Protection division.
Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from York College of Pennsylvania, York, PA. She has authored or co-authored 6 CRI reports.
