Kim Auchstetter

Kim Auchstetter is an Executive Vice President located in Rolling Meadows in the Gallagher Global Brokering division of Arthur J. Gallagher. Kim provides the strategic direction and management of the client management teams including sales, servicing, marketing, and operations. Kim works closely with clients and the account servicing teams to ensure the availability of AJG resources are available to meet the client’s needs. She also works with the client advisory teams to coordinate account marketing strategy and execute strategy in conjunction with the client. Kim provides technical expertise and advice on risk management and insurance. She acts as liaison with client and an extension of their risk management team.

Prior to joining AJG, Kim was the National Brokerage Leader and Managing Director for the Chicago office at Marsh USA . She held several leadership positions from August of 2002 to January of 2017. She joined Marsh in August 2002 as vice president, client advisory practice leader. Prior to Marsh served as vice president and department manager of the Hospitality and Gaming industry practice division at Near North Insurance Brokerage, Inc. in Chicago. She also spent several years in global brokering/marketing department, involved in coverage placements for all industry groups; She was an account executive handling some of the largest risk management accounts. Kim also held underwriting positions at Chubb and Hartford Insurance.

Kim attended the University of Illinois in Champaign for her undergraduate degree and received a Master in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.
