Professional Bio
I am a motivated, self-starter with a passion for learning. My background includes 14 years of Human Resources, 12 years of operations/budgeting, 8 years of team/business management, 4 years of facility management, and 4 years of administrative experience.
I've had the pleasure to work for Target Corporation, Howmet Castings, the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, and now Newport News Shipbuilding. I started at NNS in December of 2019 as an Admin Generalist 3 for the Combat Systems and Outfitting RCOH Project team aboard CVN-74.
I have a B. A. in English with a concentration in writing from Christopher Newport University.
In my spare time, I enjoy fiction writing and published my first novel, From Day One, in November of 2021. My second novel is set for a 2022 release date.
I look forward to my future here as I learn and grow with NNS.
