Professional Bio
My first degree was Microbiology with a focus on Genetics of Disease. After working in the field for 3 months, I left it for factory work. Found out I was very good at troubleshooting and fixing large machinery, and that I really enjoy knowledge-sharing. Worked as maintenance, operating technician, skill builder, safety advisor, continuous improvement specialist, and programmer for various manufacturing companies around Green Bay while also side gigging for fun doing architectural drawings for building expansions. Taught myself computer aided design. Went back to school for Mechanical Design. Now I am designing custom pumper firetrucks at Pierce Manufacturing (Oshkosh Corporation). I am seeking a leadership position in our employee-based resource group for LGBTQ+ employees, and would like to be more involved with womens-based groups available as well.
