Professional Bio
Janet Stambolian, B.S., M.Ed. has over 50 years experience in construction, project management, marketing, sales, and business development. Janet moved to Los Angeles from Boston at the age of 27 and became a carpenter and general contractor (California General Contractors License B414034) employed by the companies she helped to found, The Santa Monica Handywomen and Building Women, Inc.. For nine years, one of the country’s pre-eminent medical institutions, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, employed her as a Project Manager for Construction. Ben and Jerry’s Homemade hired her as Construction Project Manager when she moved to Vermont in 1992. Since then, she has done business development and marketing for builders, architects, and developers throughout her 31 years in Vermont. Janet's life work has been to create healthy environments that improve well-being, enhance the quality of life and promote more sustainable living. She joined Mamava, Inc. as an Account Executive in 2014 and helped to build the company into the national leader that it is today.
