Professional Bio
Proven leader with twenty years leading various hierarchies of technical teams, as well as training and leadership development. My goal is to develop personnel while driving continuous improvement.
I began my career with International Paper and have served in various Engineering roles, as well as Technical and Operations Management. Additionally, I was the Manufacturing Excellence Group Leader where I focused on continuous improvement. I later worked at Schneider Electric as a Technical Supervisor, and Amazon as an Area Manager. At Michelin, I progressed from a Maintenance Supervisor to the Technical Manager for the site. Then, at Cytiva, I was the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Outside of my corporate professional experience, I am a Partner for CoJa Group, LLC where we have managed the start-up of three businesses and the management of commercial properties. In addition to being the Owner and Consultant for E.G.O. Leadership Consultants, LLC, I am also the Author of Still Not Enough: Minority Millennials in the Workforce.
My educational background includes an Electrical Engineering degree from North Carolina A&T State University, a MBA in General Management from Troy University, and a DBA in Leadership from Liberty University. I have a passion for leadership development and coaching, which I have engaged in speaking events and leadership development training.
