Professional Bio
Jacob began his manufacturing career with 7 years of service at Mosaic where he was a Process Engineer, a Project Engineer and a Production Engineer. He began his Dow career in 2003 at the Plaquemine, LA site as a Run Plant Engineer for one of the polyethylene units. He held several roles there over the next 5 years including Manufacturing Representative, Reactive Chemical Focal Point, Production Coordinator, and Operations Turnaround Leader. In 2008 he became the Operations Leader for the unit. In 2010, he became the Production Leader for the Polypropylene Catalyst unit in Norco, LA. In 2012, he became the Production Leader for a polyethylene unit in Plaquemine, LA. During this tenure he led the team that started up the largest EPDM plant in the world in 2018 as part of Dow's Project Gulfstream. In 2021, he took his current role as Project Director for the Sabine River site in Orange, TX focused on sustainability, compliance and site integration projects. He is a member of the Women's Inclusion Network (WIN) ERG North American (NA) Steering team and leads the WIN NA Digital Team and is the site sponsor for the site chapter of the WIN ERG.
