Organization Overview
Harley-Davidson was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1903. Our corporate headquarters stand on the site where the first factory was built in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home.
York Vehicle Operations provides machining fabrication, paint and final assembly of all Touring and Trike models and builds limited edition custom models. York also manufactures current and non-current replacement parts. York is the facility that produces the Sportster®, Softail®, Touring and CVO™ families of motorcycles and LiveWire™ electric motorcycles.
