Emily Pesta

My background is in Accounting and Finance, where I have 20+ years of experience and am currently the Director of Finance Transformation & Acquisition Integration at Nucor. I joined Nucor in 2017 as the Manager of Financial Accounting and became the Manager of Finance Transformation & Acquisition Integration in 2023. Prior to coming to Nucor, I worked for Belk as the Director of Financial Reporting from 2012 to 2017, the Manager of Financial Reporting from 2009 to 2012, and as an auditor with KPMG from 2004 to 2009. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina, my Master’s in Accountancy from the College of Charleston, and also hold the following certifications: CPA and CGMA.
