Professional Bio
I'm Emily Haberern, Director of Operations and Business Development at GD&T Basics. At the heart of my work is a passion for empowering others to grow personally and professionally in the engineering sphere. My mission: bridging the communication gap in engineering through effective education, making it accessible and functional for all.
With a background in teaching & education and a never stop learning mentality, I am able to keep up with the constant changes & improvements in the industry to keep our company focused on the best ways to simplify the complex engineering world for our customers.
Driven by the belief that good communication is key to success in our industry, I am dedicated to improving the quality of our educational offerings, nurturing talents, and making sure our learners - the future of engineering - are equipped with not just knowledge but also the practical skills to excel.
Looking ahead, I'm excited about the endless possibilities to further innovate and impact the engineering education sector. I am always open to exploring collaborations, partnerships, and innovative solutions that drive collective growth and learning.
Outside of work, I am a serial hobbyist - finding joy in making things with my hands - baking, crocheting, calligraphy, woodworking, and a recent obsession with 3D printing and hobby CNC. I also love spending time outdoors with my husband and son, Bruce Wayne.
