Who am I? I am a healthy combination of silly and serious. I am a mom, a wife, a sister, a friend, a strategic business exec, and a safety nut all rolled into one energetic ball of tenacity.
I’m Daphne Phalon, President of Ardent Staffing, and I’ve committed my entire career to the staffing industry. Over 25 years ago, I got my first taste of this field’s incredible power to change lives, and I was instantly hooked! My passion for staffing has only grown, as has my dedication to the industry and the people I serve.
When I founded Ardent Staffing, I chose the name because “Ardent” means passionate enthusiasm. It perfectly reflects my vision of building a company and culture that truly lives up to its name. My ardent commitment to this industry is something you’ll feel in every interaction with our team.
I’m deeply involved in compliance and legislative matters that impact staffing. I had the honor of serving several years as President of the Massachusetts Staffing Association (MSA), where I remain on the Board of Directors. I’m also a regular spokesperson for the industry, advocating on important topics like worker’s compensation, unemployment, safety, and regulatory issues.
On a national level, I sit on the American Staffing Association’s Worker’s Compensation Committee and OSHA/ASA Safety Alliance. Through this work, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with OSHA and staffing industry leaders to create safer work environments for all workers—whether they’re on contract or permanent staff.
