Professional Bio
Dana Miloaga is the Nonwovens Technology Leader at Johns Manville (JM) in the Engineered Products business. In this role, she leads the team responsible for developing, commercializing, and monitoring new nonwoven products in North America. She joined JM in 2014 as Technical Sourcing Leader, a position connecting Research and Development and Supply Chain, and continued in technical roles within R&D. She is enthusiastic about innovation, collaborations, people development, and championed partnerships that help JM develop creative solutions for the automotive and building and materials industries.
Dana received BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. Her US career started in Pittsburgh, PA at PPG Industries in Aerospace Transparencies R&D, where she developed new transparent polymers for aircraft windows and ballistic applications and lead a flat glass surface quality team. She is based in Denver, Colorado, and joined WiM for the first time in 2025.
