As a leader, Carey Brechting emphasizes individual growth of team members both personally and professionally to achieve full growth potential of an organization. She is passionate about creating an environment where employees have opportunities to challenge themselves and can actively contribute to the growth of an organization within a team environment.
She holds a BBA in Accounting Information Management (10’) and MBA with an Accounting concentration (16’) from Davenport University. Her expertise in finance leadership lies in 10 years of management experience, conflict resolution, growth management, team development, forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, cash management and financial analysis.
Carey contributes the foundation of her success and growth to mentor relations she had when first starting her career. The connections, relationships and skills acquired through those relationships were fundamental to developing the leadership skills that have allowed her to prosper. Knowing first-hand the benefit of mentoring relationships, Carey is a mentor at Grace’s Table, an organization aimed at educating, encouraging and empowering teen moms. As a mentor, Carey helps ensure a place of safety, stability and love in the midst of the uncertainty and insecurity that many teens moms face. Carey is passionate about Grace’s mission and continues to be inspired by the young ladies she is blessed to meet there.
Outside of work and volunteering Carey enjoys running, motorcycle rides with her husband Kevin as well as geocaching and building Legos with her sons Kaden, Jack and Nash.
