Calvin Hart is the definition of a servant leader whose impact can be felt in every corner of Nucor Corporation. Since joining Nucor on September 8, 2002, Calvin has built a career rooted in grit, growth, and greatness. He currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of Nucor Steel Lexington in Lexington, North Carolina.
Calvin’s story is one of relentless commitment to excellence. He rose through the organization by earning trust, developing people, and never losing sight of what matters most: our teammates. From his early years in frontline leadership to his current role at the helm of the division, Calvin has never asked for more than he was willing to give.
Calvin’s vision is clear: Build a culture where people feel valued, problems get solved, and the team wins together.
He is known for his ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with boots-on-the-ground execution, making him a trusted leader across every level of the business.

Outside of work, Calvin is a devoted husband to Juanisha Hart. Together they share two amazing sons and one beautiful granddaughter, who are a constant source of pride and joy in his life.
