Alexandra (“Zan”) Starr is a Tax Director specializing in global tax compliance and reporting, currently leading the tax practice for Forvis Mazars in Minneapolis, MN. With over 16 years of Big 4 tax experience, Zan brings deep expertise in federal, state, and international tax matters.
Most recently, Zan completed a two-year secondment in Zurich, Switzerland, serving as the European liaison for global tax engagements across commercial, retail, and professional services sectors. During this time, she also specialized in the OECD’s BEPS Pillar Two initiative, supporting strategic implementation for multinational clients.
Zan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis (2008), and earned CPA certification from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy in 2014.
