About Leadership Consortium

The Leadership Consortium program (LC) provides higher-level leaders (those that manage other leaders), with experiential learning to develop skills that are necessary for transformational leadership success. Organizations thrive when their top leaders inspire and lead other leaders. The LC helps these leaders create an environment where they fully capitalize all the talent of the leaders they lead.

This program was developed specifically for seasoned leaders that lead others in manufacturing. Examples could include senior managers, directors, department leads, vice presidents or any role which manages other leaders. 

The Leadership Consortium is a short-term, high-impact program designed to work with the busy schedules of today’s top leaders. Over the seven-month program, participants will attend one virtual introduction event; two full-day virtual sessions on May 3-4 and August 23-24, 2021; two additional supporting virtual sessions between the full-day virtual sessions; and two additional supporting virtual sessions after the secon full-day virtual sessions. Participants will be guided through the selection of two virtual projects with the opportunity to present results at the virtual graduation ceremony upon program completion. Key areas of focus include building strong teams, guiding change leadership, networking / relationship development / navigating business cultures, coaching, strategic thinking and visioning, and fostering empowerment.

This is an outcome-based, cohort-style program with opportunities to learn through new experiences, reflection and peer coaching. WiM has partnered with ERC, which has 100 years of experience in learning and development, and Stacy Feiner, a highly regarded business psychologist to design and deliver this program.

The ERC team and Stacy Feiner and her team have worked with WiM on the program design to ensure that each participant will gain new insights and apply their learning throughout the program to their own leadership arsenal for lasting effect. Key focus areas include building strong teams, change leadership, networking / relationships / politics, coaching, strategic thinking and visioning and empowerment.

To embed their learning, each participant will select two of their own projects based on both the curriculum and their organizations’ needs.  Through virtual meetings and peer coaching participants will support each other’s progress on their projects.  Each participant will be required to have engaged a mentor from their own organization to support and give feedback on application their learning and the project implementation process within their organization.

The Cohort will have two full-day virtual sessions. Each day runs from 9am - 4pm EST

May 3 - 4, 2021 focusing on Building and Developing Strong Teams
August 23 - 24, 2021 focusing on Developing and Leading a Strategic Vision

Stacy Feiner, Psy. D. 

An award-winning and nationally recognized business psychologist, Dr. Stacy Feiner has helped many Fortune-ranked corporations, academic institutions, and closely held companies overcome challenges to reach goals faster than they ever thought possible.

For over two decades, Stacy’s distinctive method of coaching has been a catalyst for driving real and lasting systemic change. This innovative methodology—built on her experiences as a clinical psychologist, corporate leader, and financial advisor—focuses on the interplay of psychology, leadership, and business to solve complex dynamics. Her approach, unlike traditional methods, addresses multiple aspects of a challenge simultaneously. Her process allows leaders to spend less time overcoming the complex qualitative issues they face, such as family dynamics, governance and culture, and more time driving profitable revenue and enhancing enterprise value.

A passionate advocate for her profession, Stacy travels coast to coast presenting her thought platform at conferences and panelist forums. She also facilitates private family retreats, board sessions, and advisor meetings. She actively contributes to the industry’s discourse through her leadership blog and serves as a regular contributor to numerous national and local media publications, including Forbes, Smart Business, and Crain’s Business.

She is the author of “Talent Mindset: The Business Owner’s Guide to Building Bench Strength.” Stacy holds a bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, a master’s in clinical psychology from Northeastern University, and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Illinois School for Professional Psychology.

Tom Ault 

Director, Technical Training & Senior Consultant at ERC

Tom specializes in assisting organizations with a full spectrum of human resources projects, programs, and training. Tom’s primary areas of focus are leadership development, supervisory development, financial acumen, goal setting, leading change, communication, talent management, organizational and employee development, performance management, coaching and mentoring, retreat facilitation, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Before starting with ERC, Tom managed administrative financial offices in three cities within the United States. He then went on to hold numerous positions where he interfaced with internal and external customers to implement solutions that led to cost-saving improvement initiatives totaling over $90 million.

Using his business and financial experience, Tom introduces simple models and processes that allow participants to connect concepts and strategy to real-life application.

Tom possesses a unique blend of financial acumen, talent management, and process improvement techniques that are valued by all participants. He has designed and facilitated a full spectrum of customized training programs for clients spanning all industries.

Tom has an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from Baldwin-Wallace College as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at West Liberty State College. His professional experience includes the Motorola Six Sigma Green Belt program, the Indiana University Leadership Diebold program, and the Case Weatherhead Diebold Sales Leadership program.

Diane McNally

Diane provides business consulting services related to leadership and organization effectiveness. With over 20 years of executive experience in Fortune 250 organizations, Diane has demonstrated expertise in addressing a variety of talent management issues, including organization and team effectiveness, executive coaching, employee engagement and change management.

Diane has held executive-level positions in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Human Resources Compliance, Organization Effectiveness and Diversity. Her industry experience includes manufacturing, retail, hospitality and financial services. In her most recent corporate experience, Diane served as Executive Vice President of Employee Relations, Human Resources Compliance & Workforce Effectiveness for a $100 billion financial services organization with operations across the United States.

Today, Diane provides consulting services to organizations of all sizes and focuses on optimizing business results through outstanding talent and organizational practices. She also has served on faculty at Baldwin Wallace University and Cleveland State University providing graduate-level instruction.

Damaris Patterson Price
Keynote Speaker, Presenter, and Author

To Damaris, a leadership consultant, executive coach, adjunct professor, and facilitator, the purpose of her work is uncomplicated and clear: to help people walk in their unique brand of leadership in ways that are evident and add value to their organizations and themselves.

As a human resources veteran, Damaris’ work is the product of nearly 30 years in the people-development business focused on the growth of leadership talent for next-level positions. Informed by her own experiences coaching and managing leaders, her solutions have been effectively applied by a broad and diverse spectrum of people within corporate retail firms, chemical companies, financial services, marketing and PR firms, higher education and independent school administration, insurance providers, tech companies, nonprofits, specialty food manufacturers, foundations, professional associations, large hospital systems, and law firms.

Educational Background

Damaris Patterson Price holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology. Damaris is a certified Organizational Development and Diversity practitioner, as well as a Board-Certified Executive Coach with additional credentials from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and Forbes Coaches Council. Damaris and her children, a set of twins, live in northeast Ohio.

Krystal Brandt

An Ease Mentor and Authentic Relating Facilitator, Krystal Brandt courageously quests for meaningful connection in a digital world by creating connective group experiences that rapidly accelerate trust-building and camaraderie. Krystal guides participants through tailored, connection-based exercises that create an atmosphere of group cohesion and aspirational energy. This quality of interaction allows for opportunities to openly relate in their humanity, not just their job titles.

Krystal spent seven years in corporate IT implementing multi-million-dollar software systems in project management roles. After a period of soul searching following a family illness, she decided to travel to Bali where she lived for the first time without a busy calendar, roles to play, and a massive to-do list. She found something life-changing instead – herself.

Krystal now guides go-getter entrepreneurs and leaders to a quest of ease in a world built for the opposite through one-on-one and group mentoring. She received training as an Authentic Relating Facilitator through Authentic Revolution in Austin, Texas in 2015.

She has led countless workshops and group experiences around the country, where guards come down and only the truth of our humanity remains. In the times we live in, Krystal creates opportunities to come back to the basics of human connection, meaningful conversation, and truly seeing and hearing each other.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this program for me?

Before applying each candidate should have: 

  • Support of their organization’s leadership and their direct supervisor for their full participation in the program including investment in the course studies and leadership projects. 
  • Hold a role as a manager of managers - where they can directly apply the leadership and management concepts, tools and lessons learned.
  • A Mentor from their organization outside of their direct sphere of influence, NOT their direct supervisor. (If possible, one or two levels above them in the organization)
  • A basic understanding of Emotional/Social Intelligence, Developing Others, Leading Change, Coaching and Mentoring. 
  • Project ideas within their teams and beyond their area of responsibility for the betterment of their organization.

The selection process for this program is competitive, and not all applicants will be accepted for the first cohort. Each cohort will include participants from a variety of job functions, manufacturing areas, organizational sizes and gender.

  • Participate in the entire program, even if their job title changes during the program.
  • Tackling big changes with new thinking and openly sharing aspects of their journey
  • Challenging themselves and their approach to leading
  • Exploring various leadership styles and situations through role playing scenarios and class assignments
  • Integrating what they learn into their habits and leadership style
  • Actively contributing in the leadership engagement sessions through fully contributing to the cohort
  • Fully investing themselves in all aspects of the program (face to face, virtual, coaching and leadership projects)
  • Establishing a professional network within the cohort and expanding their network in their own organization
  • Giving back through their own organization and/or WiM by serving as a coach, mentor or a contributing leader in the  future
