Professional Bio
I am passionate about helping people. I started my career life off in an emergency medicine setting and over the years have realigned my focus on prevention. I focused on developing skills to help prevent people from getting hurt or sick at work instead of treating them after the incident. In my years working as a Senior Safety Consultant, I applied my knowledge working with hundreds of companies to identify what hazards in the workplace could hurt their people. I trained their employees, conducted site inspections for various work environments, and helped employers understand the intricacies of Worker’s Compensation, Retrospective Rating, and DOSH/OSHA regulation.
I like to think that my experience working in emergency medical services serves me well as I can understand the urgency employers feel when there is a workplace safety issue. I believe in exceptional customer service and integrity, striving to deliver these values to clients.
I enjoy working with people, and the opportunity to train has been a great way to connect to people, allowing me to develop myself and others. My experience facilitating training ranging from Forklift Train-the-Trainer, Respirators, Confined Space to EMT, First Aid/CPR Instructor, Supervisor, and OSHA training has once again helped me shape a new career direction. Working as a Content Manager allows me to reach an even bigger audience, hopefully helping even more employees go home safely at the end of the day. I love developing real resources for employers that not only satisfy regulatory compliance but actually make sense and make a difference in workplace safety. My goal is to help engage employees and make safety easy!
