Kate Leiby

Kate Leiby is the Director of Global Sustainability at Donaldson Company, which she has held since 2026, and a former General Manager of Donaldson’s Power Generation business, which she led since 2022. Her extensive global manufacturing experience spans more than two decades and includes leadership roles in operations, procurement, quality, IT, logistics, and cross functional teams spanning multiple regions and highly regulated industries, including transportation, aerospace and defense, and life sciences. After spending the early part of her career building programs and driving execution, Kate now focuses on developing long term business strategy—helping define clear roadmaps and intentional processes for enterprise-level functions and business success.
Leiby has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She serves as Chair of the Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation and is deeply committed to strengthening the manufacturing workforce
