Kate Leiby is Donaldson Company’s GM of Power Generation, having assumed the role in 2022. The Power Generation business is focused on being a part of the world’s evolving energy transformation by providing consistent, clean, dynamic, and controllable energy solutions. Our air inlet systems support the whole energy supply chain ecosystem from fuel production, fuel transmission, fuel refining and power generation.
Kate joined Donaldson in 2000 and has held many different roles throughout her career in Operations at several locations including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and global headquarters. Her background spans quality, operations, maintenance, inventory, demand planning, lean, purchasing, IT, audit, supply chain and logistics. Before assuming her GM role, she was the head of quality for Donaldson supporting all businesses giving her broad industrial knowledge. These businesses included: Mobile Solutions IATF 16949, Aerospace and Defense AS9001, Industrial Solutions ISO 9001 and Life Science ISO13485. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Wisconsin- Stout. She is co-chair for the Women’s Leadership Network at Donaldson, serves on the Women in Leadership Advisory Board for Minnesota State University Mankato and is on the Board of Directors for Bloomington Chamber of Commerce.
