Kate Leiby is Donaldson Company’s Director; Global Sustainability having assumed the role in 2026 transitioning from General Manager, Power Generation, a global organization that has engineering, design, operations, and sales teams in Bloomington, U.S., Abu Dhabi, UAE; Monterrey, MX; and Leuven, Belgium, with manufacturing locations are in Monterrey and Abu Dhabi.
Kate joined Donaldson in 2000 and has held many different roles throughout her career at several locations including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and global headquarters. Her background spans quality, operations, maintenance, inventory, demand planning, lean, purchasing, IT, audit, supply chain and logistics and business management. Before assuming her GM role, she was the head of quality for Donaldson, supporting all businesses giving her broad industrial knowledge. These businesses included: Mobile Solutions IATF 16949, Aerospace and Defense AS9001, Industrial Solutions ISO 9001 and Life Science ISO13485.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Wisconsin- Stout. She is currently serving as Vice Chair on the Board for Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation
