Traci Spencer recently rejoined TechSolve as the Director of Government Programs where she embodies the role of advocate and catalyst for Ohio Manufacturers, the local manufacturing community, and the broader MEP National Network. Her mission involves connecting individuals with valuable resources aimed at enhancing their current circumstances while managing programs and securing grants to facilitate the growth and improvement of manufacturers across Ohio.
Traci aspires to revolutionize the perception of manufacturing careers, aiming to dispel misinformation and highlight the diverse opportunities within the industry for individuals of all abilities. Her passion for this endeavor stems from a lineage steeped in hard work and community contributions, inspired by her father's journey from the Army to a thriving role at Armco Steel, and her husband's transition from restaurant management to a fulfilling career in manufacturing.
Traci's dedication to her work is characterized by her commitment to honesty, hard work, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of simplifying complex tasks for her team members and clients alike. She strives to create a landscape where every individual finds a fitting role in manufacturing, fostering confidence, comfort, and a sense of belonging within their professional and personal journey.
Prior to her return to TechSolve, Traci was the Associate Director of the Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership from 2022 - 2023 embedded at the Ohio Department of Development. During that time, she was responsible for the co-management of the Ohio MEP’s federal and state grant programs.
From 1995 - 2021, Traci spent 26 years dedicated to the manufacturing community at TechSolve serving in several roles including Technical Writer, Senior Event Coordinator, Marketing Manager, Machining Training Manager, Center for Small Manufacturers Program Development Manager, and Grant Program Manager.
