Sandy Crist

Sandy Crist is the Executive Director for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) at the Mississippi Manufacturing Association. MEP is one of 51 centers that provides services to assist manufacturers in being globally competitive. Sandy is the former Assistant Executive Director for the Mississippi Community College Board where she provided oversight for Workforce, Career-Technical and Adult Education. During this time, she was afforded many opportunities to be a voice for adult education and how vital its role is in bridging the gap in Mississippi’s workforce needs. Working with the State Workforce Investment Board, MS Department of Employment Security and other Core Partners, Sandy was instrumental in the development of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity, Mississippi Combined State Plan. She earned her a bachelor’s degree in education and Master of Administration from Mississippi College and has over 32 years of experience in workforce development and education.
